Terms & Conditions

This page summarises the main terms on which AgriSound supplies its monitoring products and services. It is a summary only. Our full Terms and Conditions of Use are provided with every invoice, and those are the terms that apply to your order. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are

AgriSound Limited (“AgriSound”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in England and Wales with company number 12427215. Our registered office is at Bank Farm Buildings, Chester Road, Aldford, Chester, CH3 6HJ.

2. Orders and Payment

  • Products and services are supplied under our invoice, together with the full Terms and Conditions of Use. These take priority over any other terms, including any you send us.
  • Your order is accepted, and your service starts, once the invoice has been paid in full. The start date is set out in your invoice and project charter.

3. Delivery and Your Equipment

  • We arrange delivery to the address you give us. Installation is your responsibility unless we have agreed otherwise.
  • Please check the products when they arrive and tell us about any problem within 7 days of delivery.
  • Products are at your risk from delivery, and ownership passes to you. You are responsible for keeping them in your possession and in good repair, and for using them as we instruct.
  • Please don’t alter or add to the products without our written agreement, and follow any software licences that come with them.

4. Your Data and the AgriSound Portal

  • Insect monitoring data and reports are made available through our online portal. You will need internet access and a suitable device to use it.
  • We give you a licence to access, view and adapt the data for your own internal business use, or for academic, research or charitable land-management purposes, for as long as your agreement lasts.
  • The data, and anything derived from it, belongs to AgriSound. You may not publish, share, resell or build the data into your own products or services without our agreement.
  • We may use the data for research and development and share it with others, but never in a way that identifies the specific location of your sensors.
  • When your agreement ends, your portal access ends too. You can ask us for a copy of your data within 30 days.

5. Our Service

  • We provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
  • Monitoring data is provided “as is”. We cannot guarantee it will be complete, error-free or uninterrupted, and decisions you make based on it are your own.
  • We may change how the service works or is accessed, and will give you as much notice as we reasonably can.
  • We may pause the service while any payment is overdue.

6. Liability

Our liability is limited as set out in the full Terms and Conditions of Use. Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

7. General

Your rights and obligations under your agreement cannot be transferred to anyone else. Your agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any disputes.
